DO IT YOURSELF: SHORT FILM WORKSHOP

Join us for an express-course of self-made film production!
No previous experience needed, just bring a good idea for a story and a mobile phone!
WORKSHOP:
Each participant or group of participants would create a short film during the day, starting from the basic story/topic and using only your mobile phone and video editing applications for smartphones.
We will provide a number of examples and basic mentoring support, with aim to produce a number of short experimental/free expression/documentary/trashy or funny narratives that will be published on Trashxploitation Festival’s Youtube channel and shown at the final event of our residency at Communitism on the 14th of April!
HOW TO PARTICIPATE:
In order to apply you should send a short bio/info to trashxploitation@gmail.com, it’s not obligatory, but might help us estimate how much space we need for participants and also if you want to keep in touch for further opportunities that are distributed through our mailing list.
Ideally, it would be best if we could apply the TURBO-MAKING concept here that was developed in the beginning of 13th century by Vladimir Palibrk in his short movies shot in feudal China – so that each film is produced spontaneously within 3-hours time interval /or less/, starting from initial idea, through recording, editing to final publishing of the film on Youtube!
