WORKSHOP : REPRESENTATIONS OF THE FEMALE BODY

WE ACCEPT APPLICATIONS UNTIL 04.10.2021 AT THIS LINK https://forms.gle/i22AZUAiU73JfDC98

What space do the female bodies take up in public speech and public space? How are they supposed to be dressed, move, speak, behave, sit, exist, react and be photographed?  Do they have to be fully shaved or with body hair?  Young or old? Fat or thin? Tall or short? To whom do the female bodies belong to and who speaks for them? What is considered to be “feminine” and what is not?

Balkan Can Kino organises a cinematographic workshop as part of the 4th BCK Film Symposium, free of charge, in order for the participants  to produce 2 min films with the use of the mobile phone, reflecting on the “Representations of the female bodies”. Workshop Duration: 3 hours

Languages: Greek/English

The films that will be produced from the workshop will be screened during the 4th BCK Film Symposium.
