OPEN CALL FOR FILM SUBMISSION
This year’s theme is the CLIMATE CRISIS and through a series of screenings, artistic installations, workshops and parallel events that aim to educate and inform participants, the Symposium will focus on the accessibility of green practices, by cultural organisations and individuals -particularly when individuals are financially strained- the responsibility of large corporations and governments. By bringing together experts, foundations, and artists, the symposium aims to foster dialogue and awareness around the intersection of environmental sustainability, social justice, and cultural expression.
7BCKFS is open to all genres that fit under the theme, including narrative, documentaries, experimental cinema, video art and animation. Submissions can be made exclusively via FilmFreeway, until June 28th, 2024. The official selection will be announced in September,.
